Journal Membership 12/25/20
Here’s Journal Club 12/25/20! I hold one every week JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present some that have influenced my life this week. Be safe and stay healthy!
- Love it or hate it, the FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement is here to stay. Personally, I think, as you might have guessed, the idea of financial independence is great – regardless of the time frame. But there is still a lot of misunderstanding about this idea. This article from Get Rich Slowly breaks down some of these myths and what FIRE really is.
- When it comes to financial independence This article from The Debt-Free Doctor assumes that there are basically two ways of achieving this: living under your means – or expanding those means. Which one is better? Well, I have my ideas, but this article explains it very well.
- Diversification: Probably the most important thing you can do with your investments. We all know we shouldn’t be putting all of our eggs in one basket, but sometimes it’s difficult to know for sure As to diversify. This article from Financial Samurai gives you some lesser-known but excellent ideas.
- Most of us are ready to leave 2020 far behind. But many ask: will 2021 get better? Well, Mr. Money Mustache thinks so. In this article, he explains some trends that suggest that 2021 will not only be better, but also your best year yet.
That’s it for this week! Hope the Journal Club 12/25/20 has helped you.
Finally, a little motivation. Have fun and a nice weekend!
