This is Journal Club 02/26/21! I hold one every week JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present some that have influenced my life this week. Be safe and stay healthy!
- For most people, achieving financial freedom is so liberating that it actively combats the burnout feelings so many doctors experience. Interestingly, however, XRAYVSN experienced the opposite when it gained financial freedom. In this article he explains why that is and how things have changed since then.
- I don’t know about you, but I love to have a list of steps I can take to improve my life in any way. This is exactly what the prudent plastic surgeon gives us in this article, which he aptly calls “7 Financial Habits of Very Successful Doctors. “Check out this one for some great, actionable advice.
- As a real estate investor, I’m a huge fan of leverage. One way to take advantage of leverage is through something called “delayed funding,” and that is exactly what Semi-Retired MD covers This post. If you haven’t heard of this strategy before, check out his post to see if it can be useful for you.
- Financial freedom is a very, very worthy goal. But as I am sure you know, in order to achieve this goal you have to be very deliberate. This applies not only to your mindset (which is a big part of it) but also to your finances. In this post, Wealthy Doc goes in depth on how to create the financial plan to help you achieve these goals.
